Our client is a global insurance company that provides a full suite of investment, life and health insurance products with significant market share across the Asia Pacific region.
Reporting into the Chief Risk Officer you will be responsible for defining the risk policy and strategy ensuring a structured and transparent process for factoring risk into the business decision making process at a tactical and strategic level. Specifically you will define the key risk indicators and provide the executive team with the tools and information they need to optimise, risk reward, risk control and risk transfer. You will also drive a culture of risk that harmonizes the objectives of the key decision makers to ensure a robust risk and control framework whilst reducing information asymmetries between managers and stakeholders to mitigate principal-agent risk. Managing a team you will also develop a business continuity management plan with a regular testing programme.
To be considered for this role you must:
- have 10-15 years financial services experience with a background in internal audit and/or operational risk management;
- demonstrate a thorough understanding of insurance products and processes; and
- be a seasoned presenter with fluency in English and Cantonese essential.
